Description:

Galaxkey is a specialized application designed for the secure viewing of Galaxkey Encrypted Documents and the transmission of encrypted emails.

When receiving a Galaxkey-protected file with the extension .gxk or a Galaxkey-secured email, the application offers a straightforward interface for handling these files. Users can open .gxk files directly from email attachments or stored files on their mobile device. Upon attempting to access a file, the app authenticates the user through the cloud service, decrypts the data, and displays its contents. If the decrypted content includes standard document formats such as Word, Excel, or JPEG, it is previewed within the app; otherwise, it provides options to open the files in other compatible iOS applications for viewing.

If the decrypted content is an encrypted email, the application displays the message along with any attached files. Importantly, the app does not retain decrypted data locally on the device, maintaining data security and privacy.

The application also facilitates secure email communication. Users can reply to received messages within the app, with responses being securely transmitted via their personal email accounts. Additionally, it allows users to compose and send new encrypted messages directly from within the application using their Galaxkey credentials.

Furthermore, users can access and download their Galaxkey Secure Share (GSS) files stored in the cloud, enabling seamless viewing and management of shared data.

Access to and viewing of Galaxkey-encrypted files require user registration with Galaxkey, ensuring proper authentication and security compliance.
